In 2022, Al Yamamah Steel Industries Company began the construction of the Al Yamamah Wind Power Systems Factory in Yanbu Industrial City, aiming to support Saudi Arabia’s transition to renewable energy sources.

Production at the factory commenced in 2025, with a designed production capacity of 50,000 tons per year. The facility specialized in manufacturing steel towers that carry wind turbines, enabling the generation of electricity from wind energy. These towers are made from steel sheets of different thicknesses and can reach heights of up to 130 meters, with dia that reaches up to 6 meters.

The establishment of this factory in Saudi Arabia marks a significant milestone in the country’s efforts to maximize the utilization of renewable energy resources, contributing to its sustainability goals.
